Näver is the Swedish word for the outer bark of the birch tree. The word näver is also used to describe the weaving technique historically used in Scandinavia to craft shoes, bags and household items for everyday use. The Näver Collection is Cecilia Eduards’ interpretation of traditional Nordic birch-bark weaving in an updated form.

The Näver Collection was launched in 2014 and received the FORM 2018 award from the German Bundesverband Kunsthandwerk e.V. Cecilia Eduards also received the Formvisaren award in 2018 and 2020 from Svensk Form Väst for her work with the collection.

The Näver Collection brings together traditional weaving and contemporary design.

The Skiffer Collection consists of leather bags with a Scandinavian design language and a distinctive layered construction.

The name and form are inspired by slate and the way layers of natural stone or wooden shingles have traditionally been overlapped on roofs and façades. In Cecilia Eduards’ interpretation, this principle becomes the starting point for the bags’ distinctive V-shaped layers. The collection includes bags in solid colours and mixed colour combinations.

Björk is a collection of smaller unisex leather accessories with a functional, minimalist design language.

Named after the Swedish word for birch, the collection is inspired by Swedish nature and the beauty found in everyday forms. The Björk Collection includes key straps, cardholders and laptop sleeves in a range of colours.
